It seemed like yesterday when Laila Ali was boxing and married to former boxer Yahyah McClain. Laila and McClain got a divorce in 2005, and she also took a break from boxing. Then Laila got involved in dancing on “Dancing With the Stars”. After that, Laila got married to NFL player Curtis Conway. Today she is expecting a child. Standing on the outside looking in at Laila, it seems everything that she wanted is starting to happen. There is a happy glow on her face. Laila always wanted to be married and to have a family.
Since Laila has not been boxing, she has been doing many things. She has co host the new American Gladiators series, appeared in the new Subway commercial, she has appeared on the “Early Show” more than once, she was involved in a photo shoot for her new “Got Milk” ad, a photo shoot for Vaseline's “Skin Is Amazing” campaign, she has a page on Facebook, and there is much more. Laila Ali can be and do all that she wants to do. She is a champion in many ways, and I am proud of her.
