Are we all even on the same page here? Prices are high at the stores because shipping is too expensive due to the cost of fuel. Most delivery trucks are Diesel Fuel operated and Diesel Fuel, although a by product of regular gasoline, has become more expensive than its parent product. Many ships run on Diesel fuel to ship products to and from various continents causing their prices to rise beyond belief as well. Places like Hawaii where people are paying in excess of $5.00 for one loaf of bread, and we aren't far behind that here in America's Main Lands.
Here in America where the majority of our people eat in take out's and sit down restraints rather than to cook at home we have a fuel substitute that could work temporarily, and it's readily available right now. In fact it has been known about for at least the past five years that I personally know about. Now that we are in need of something just like this, the government wants to levy a fine against anyone using it? Are they kidding? They should be sitting down trying to figure out just how to make this work for everyone not threatening to hit people with fines for good thinking and inventing that could actually work!
Right now restraints of all types pay someone else to dispose of their used oil. What if their used oil is picked up at no charge to the restraints delivered to special refineries to be purified for fuel consumption in Diesel operated vehicles. This fuel is non explosive, easy to filter and clean burning. It is available technology right now. It is something that at best can be a temporary fix while other sources are being developed.
I figure the developers of this fuel alternative can set up the refineries and put people to work raking in $1.00 per Gal. of the finished fuel product going out, the government gets their reported $0.18 per Gal. tax and the stations can get $0.57 per Gal. making the total cost of the fuel $1.75 per Gal. saving consumers paying for Diesel in excess of $3.30 per Gal. This will enable to save everyone money clear across the board, raise our economy and give people not only hope but more money to pay their mortgages, bills, etc. At a savings of $3.00 per Gal. if you're filling up a 20 Gal. tank will be saving a total of $60.00 per tank of fuel. Now there is a change we can believe in!
So why does the government want to destroy this idea rather than to find a way to make it work? Why hasn't the future president's to be spoken up and come to the defense of this great and inventive idea? Although it may not be a permanent answer, it is a temporary fix that can be enacted immediately to bring down the major cost of deliveries and distributions, until better developments can be made. The money made and saved in the long run all the way around plus no further pollutions put into the air are the best change we can hope for right now. It also means if they get started right away school children won't have to walk extra distances to the bus stops as predicted. School Busses, the Grey Hound Busses, transportation systems in many places can convert to this also.
Regular vehicles can be converted as well, yes but it costs a little more and requires an extra tank to be installed into a normal gasoline running vehicles. Instead of $800.00-$1,000.00 per vehicle (one time fee) it could cost as much as $1,800.00 per vehicle. But like I said earlier, in the long run the amount of money saved per tank of fuel would be well worth the refit cost. If the government really wanted to be helpful, they would give tax credits, rebates, etc. to those willing to do this rather than levy a fine against anyone doing it. If nothing else it could be used for all transportation and delivery vehicles to lower the cost of everyday transportation and items delivered at the markets, everywhere.
Are the government people really concerned about we people or are they just blowing a lot of pretty colored smoke up our butts? Do the presidential incumbents really want to make life better, prices lower and the air cleaner or is it all just political mumbo jumbo to get our votes then once in office it'll be business as sort of usual but with different players this time? Both talk about change, yet neither is actually showing any. It's almost like watching a “good cop/bad cop “scenario between Senators McCain and Obama. Sometimes I think the whole lot of them is just playing games, high stake games; but games none the less and we the people nothing more than expendable pawns to them all. And I hope we're not trading one type of corrupted government leader for another. I for one am tired of the “throw the people a bone“ attitude; So lets all of us Faith Based Believers keep in faith and prayer continually over the new government leader whom ever it may be, and keep demanding of them the help we require as the people who pay their bills and puts them into office to begin with huh?
Now I'm told that used vegetable oil is currently being used by others for other things. Well, I'll pose the same opinion here I posed on my CNN I Report, I can't possibly think of anything that the used oil could possibly be used for that could take precedence over the needs of shipping and transportation of goods and people in the U.S.A. in order to keep prices of consumer goods down to an affordable level, transport people to where they need to go and to get our children to their schools.
