Just this morning I heard of another bridge collapse over the Mississippi river. My personal opinion is that State and Federal officials need to rush repairs on these bridges. What are they waiting for?
Procrastination is the mother of all mess ups. I do not understand why they are stalling.
It gets me more than a little bent out of shape too, are they waiting for a mass drowning of innocents? Come on American leadership, get with the program.
When a bridge is built we take for granted that it's safe, but I believe that is one of the worst mistakes we could make.
We need to write to our law makers and demand safer bridges, I do not want to turn on my tv and see any more horrific scenes like the one I saw this morning.
There is absolutely no excuse for it whatsoever.

It is essential that we do not let them procrastinate any longer, Immediate legislation needs to be passed forcing bridge builders to maintain the integrity of their structures.
