Is Barack Obama Racist?

With all of the things that Obama talks about he often talks about race. He talks on how Black, Asian, and Hispanics are treated unfairly. But at this day and age are they? With all the civil rights in this country I really don't think that racism is an issue any longer.

You can get sued for using the “N” word with out permission. (This is true believe me) and he never says anything about protection against cracker or honky. Why are civil rights so one sided?

And why would anyone be so shallow as to base their presidential campaign on race. Or even gender as is also going on this time around. And another thing; Obama belongs to an all black church. That meaning you have to be Black to be a member. And everyone thinks that's okay? Isn't that racism? If people want to stop racism that is one of the only things that is truly racism now days in America.

If a white man who was running for president belonged to an all white church wouldn't he be deemed a racist and thrown out of the race? Is anyone on my side on this? And no I'm not a racist, my girlfriend is part black. (Just like Obama) PART black.

Did you hear his pastor speak? “Goddamn America!” he said in his speech. And he is part of Obama's campaign! How are people still voting for this pig! I used to like Obama as a person, but now I really think he is the worst possible president ever. And I do think he is a racist. I really do.

Go online and watch his videos. Listen to what he says about civil rights. You can tell he is a racist. And other then voting against the war he hasn't done a thing but talk. He spits change and people eat it up likes it's Paris Hilton's farts!

Bottom line; This Obama is a racist! Go ahead and leave a comment talking trash about me you don't know what you're talking about!

this opinion piece is written poorly and with misconceptions and false information. He cites as proof misquotes and errors, and references things that are not true. His church isn't "all black", his pastor didn't say "goddamn america" in that context. What an @ss. Clearly the author is only listening to sound bites and blogs. What a joke. But hey, it gets people going and fuels his ego.

His campaign is based on race? Wow! Unblievable. We must be watching two different campaigns. I would suggest watching something besides Rev. Wright videos. I think you missed a few ... okay a lot of things.

you are right he is a racist. He has not based his campaign on race but he does talk a lot about it. and yes if anybody it doesn\'t have to be a president white does anything white only were racist people are so fast to call a white person a racist yet they do the same thing to each other. call each other the N word yet a person of any other race says it there a racist. start up all black colleges if white people done it weed be racists your right he did come from an all black church you would think being a man of god he would at least agree with \"IN GOD WE TRUST\" Or \"ONE NATION UNDER GOD\" the entire thing this nation was based upon to begin with. i think he is pulling one over on this country and yet y\'all want him in because we need his views. I think you people need to open your eyes and see him for what he is a lier

Obama is nothing but a rascist who is incapable of seeing anything but a person's color...he is a typical liberal socialist elite-ist with the victim mentality feeding at the entitlement trough...........the only change he is for is whatever change you have in your pocket. His wife hates white people (waiting on the whitey video to come out after the dumbocrats elect him) and this is the guy that libs want as our leader ? please, liberals, go back to your meds and take a nap.....losers........

I am black woman and I don't call people the "n" word or any other race derogatory terms. John McCain voted against Martin Luther King day as a national holiday...and no one seems to think that is racially biased. I'm sure some of you will say "it was justified" or try to come up with some solution as to why it's not a little discriminatory. I'm not saying you can't have your opinion about Obama...but let's face it..a lot of you just don't want to see a black president..and the thought of it happening is hard for you to deal with. Another thing...Obama is half white..how can he hate half of who he is? Be fair in your comments and be true to yourselves...if you are angry, and you are jumping to conclusions about certain people..there is probably something wrong with you. And though I deal with racist comments being made to me daily, I ignore them...because I refuse to get anngry over ignorant people...but (lol) in some places...trust..it still exists

Well I agree with the passage obama is racist he is lets elect him so the African-Americans no blacks can get reparation checks from the government like I own them something they are not entitled to a dime like me a white guy. Poor blacks are mistreated aren\\\'t they no everyone should be equal and if blacks can get money so should whites people red people yellow people and what ever color are skin is. Michelle obama has written several papers in college stating her racist views. Obamas mother is racist and just becuase she is white doesn\\\'t mean she can\\\'t hate whites. I just think people need to elect a leader who sees people for who they are not the color of there skin. I would vote for collin powell if he ran or condelleza rice if she ran I don\\\'t look at color just the issues. Obama is selling false hope and elect and thats what you get false hope.

I don't know if he is racist or not but i have heard the rumors. I don't think that any race should should get special treatment, we should be treated as equals not trying to empower everyone thats not white. Besides i experience racism everyday people calling me whitey and cracker and several other terms. How many jobs have i been turned down because i was white. And many times for not speaking Spanish in jobs where no Spanish is required.

You are correct about a great deal of things in your article. If anyone doesn't think Obama is a racist, google his nifty book, "Dreams of (or for?) my Father". I have read it... he is definitely a racist.
If a white candidate was running for President, and he belonged to a church that only allowed whites to be members, he would be a racist pig and Jesse "Never had a Job" Jackson and Al Sharpton, and the media would make a HUGE deal about it. In today's society, if you are white, you have to PROVE you are NOT a racist.
Bottom Line- you have african-americans living in the SAME neighborhoods as whites and feel they are oppressed. So, what does that tell you? Well, the democrats are to blame for this... they like to tell people they are "Oppressed or discriminated against" and, "If you vote for me, I will fix it". You didn't go to college- that doesn't matter, if you were white you'd make $100,000 a year... You are oppressed. Its ridiculous and shameful how people are ruining this country with stuff like this.

Racism is alive and well in this country. Just ask any white person living in South Carolina how many times they've been on the receiving end of racism from blacks.

Sad commentary on the fact that Americans cannot let this issue be put to bed.

It seems to me that all of the Democrats who are leaving their comments are very uneducated. It would probably be safe to say that many, if not most have not and will not graduate from high school. This is why they will always choose the Democratic party that wants to increase spending and the size of our government. In this way the Democratic party can take care of them, since they are unable to support themselves or make their own decisions.
I still have not heard any good arguments on exactly what Obama is going to change, except to further tax the upper and middle class, which will always result in further tax and price increases to the lower and middle class. Hey everyone, "Let's increase the tax on the windfall profits of the oil industry", wow that's a great idea Obama. I guess it is if you like paying even more at the gas pump, since those tax increases will be passed right back to the consumer.
I still do not understand why anybody in their right mind would trust anything that Obama has to say. His preacher for the past 20 years has been a racist, American hating liar. Obama and his family must have agreed with him since they returned to listen to him every week. I ask this question, if McCain had been attending a Klu Klux Klan rally every week for the past 20 years would that be okay? If not, why? What is the difference when compared to Obama's actions? Of course the real members (non-Democrats) of our country, and for good reason, would never allow this scenerio to happen, but for some reason or another the Democrats do not mind.

The only true racism that exist in today's society is that blacks get a free pass on everything. The are not held accountable for any of their actions and can say and do anything to anybody without any repercussion. In reference to the MLK holiday. I do not believe we should have a national holiday that just celebrates the accomplishments of just one man, it should be a group of individuals that the holiday stands. For instance there are not individual national holidays for each one of our former presidents, there is only a single president's day representing them all.

Okay, to answer the question of is he a Racist, imagine what would happen to McCain if her were to give the same speeches. If you think for a second that McCain would still be able to run for president after making the same speeches, then you are truly Delusional.

He is racist everyone is scared to speak up against him in case they get accused of being racist. He has the whole of America and the whole of the world under his thumb. I seriously hope he loses...however unlikely.
