Wow, I never thought of this!!! The actual supplying addicts with their drugs is cheaper than to actually fight them with as much drug use is going on. With that extra money we can eventually pay off the national debt. Help poverty. Maybe start with helping schools with money.
Here in my hometown kids could use some kind of help for passing the wasl (don't know if right spelling) test in the math department in the local high schools. With the acceptance of marijuana alone we could have a new good fuel for cars, bring more plants to in hail carbon monoxide and dioxide (or at least the global warming atom) and put out oxygen to save our planet. I don't know about you, but one of the funniest things of "An Inconvenient Truth" (if you've seen it) is that the extreme rise in carbon monoxide and/or carbon dioxide is in the 1970's, and wasn't that about the time that the government started pulling marijuana plants out of the ground that grew freely? I know the DEA was started sometime in the 70's.
So, could it be that the plants the government has fought so hard to kill, has actually filtered our air as polluters of the environment and when we started removing them did we really start screwing ourselves as far as the environment is concerned? When I think of these things, I can't help but think, "are these the reasons other countries hate us?
Do other countries know of the major damage the U.S.A. has put out and that's the reason they hate us? If so it makes sense and I can actually understand. I mean their poor asses are barely living unless they own the land that's being milked for oil. On top of that, we take that oil and pollute the environment, so I guess they can't totally blame us since their own country-folk are selling it to us, they should probably blame their own country.
