There is civil unrest in Tibet. It started with the Tibetan monks protesting in Lhasa. Now it has spread to other cities. The Chinese army has been sent in to quell the uproar. The Tibetans are not coming out to good in this deal.
All they have to fight with is rocks for the most part. The Chinese have guns. So you can imagine how one-sided this fight is. The Tibetans claim the Chinese have killed around 100 of them and injured several hundred. The Chinese have not really even admitted there is a fight going on and claim they are making the Tibetans healthier!!
We'll see how this plays out, but I think we can all see how it's going to end up in the end. If they Tibetans are going to continue to fight they at least need bigger rocks!!
