Morality Versus Obscenity

The intricate dilemma of multifarious religious conservatism and secular vulgarism is a hard nut to crack. This tight spot has given birth to religious extremism and vulgarity extremism. The shellback live wire followers of the twin extremisms are ruling the roost. The numbers of disinterested bluenose moderate angelic people sandwiched between the double whammy of radicalisms are perpetually shrinking. The state sponsored eager beavers of both kinds have thrown down the gauntlet for the wowser international moralists to thwart the challenges to save the existence and moral fabric of humanity. The future of carpet-biter modern man is becoming bleak with each passing day. With every new invention, he is becoming more indifferent and iceback crasher, cheapskate stumblebum, dead duck performer and teddy bear savage. His life is becoming precarious and insecure, and his morality is getting badly cracked.

Though the hotheaded religious extremism is dominating the East, the greater part of which is scrapping the bottom of the barrel; the well-fixed West is under the assault of the smeared butterfly kitsch extremism. Most of the well-lined powers intoxicated jumping cats are immersed in secularism, capitalism, communism,atheism, agnosticism, individualism, materialism, blind nationalism and vulgarism. They blow their wads and apply brute muscle power to extend their hegemonic designs. Therefore, these deleterious evils have been trickling out to the dependent lightweight countries. The high monkey-monk states have ingrained hostility towards budding nations, most of which were the colonies of these professed champions of human rights.

Those who have visited well-heeled western countries are familiar with this plain reality that on the seashores of these advanced countries, the champions of earthiness have demarcated lines on the beaches beyond which only most advanced fully nude hot stuff and fanatic puppies of crassness can take bath to distinguish them from the conservatives who cover one hundredth part of their body with minimum possible cloth which can hardly be called even under dress. Casinos, dance clubs, splurging mushy wing-dings, cinemas, bawdyhouses and beaches are the excellent places of entertainment of the sewer mouth western people and monstrous fountainheads of innumerable social evils.

They have been harvesting the bitter fruits of this blatant vulgarism in the form of progressively increasing tempo of uncontrolled extramarital relations, constantly on the rise digit of homosexual adventures, steadily increasing number of rapes, continuously rising figure of illegitimate children, swiftly mounting divorce rate, rapidly growing suicide rate, quickly escalating sexually transmitted diseases like AIDS, Hepatitis B and syphilis, and hastily upward numeral of deeply affecting psychological illnesses, etc. To telescope a cherry in the unbridled sexually lavish west is becoming problematic. The legitimacy of gay marriages and licensing of cathouses in some of the developed countries is the zenith of the vulgarity extremism. Therefore, these grubby cultures treading on the course of self-immolation are the grim pictures of declining civilizations. Renowned poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal forecasted this degradation in these golden words: “Tumhari tehzeeb apne khanjar se aap hi khud kushi kare gi; Jo Shakhe nazuk pe asheana bane ga wo na-paidar ho ga (Your civilization would commit suicide with its own dagger; the nest that is formed on the delicate twig would be brittle).

People of the same sex in the west avoid hand shaking, hugging and staying together to avoid the label of gay. They live with their opposite sex happily even without marriage. Some dead-beat queers arrange counterfeit marriages with the opposite gender in order to keep up their public face. But most of these marriages end in failure. Notorious author Sulman Rushdie married four times but all his marriages wrecked. A few months back a divorce was cooking between the author of the infamous novel The Satanic Verses and his wench model wife and Top Chef host, Padma Lakshmi. However, it was a little unclear who was stirring the pot but the statement of Padma Lakshmi spelled out the ambiguity.

Lakshmi, 36 said that she "has agreed with her husband-author, Suman Rushdie to end their marriage." in a statement released by her publicist, Christina Papadopoulos. The statement issued by the host of the hit Bravo reality cooking show and the author of the Easy Exotic cookbook continued to say, “After an eight-year relationship including over three years of marriage, Lakshmi regrets that their mutual efforts failed to make the marriage work. He used her to appease members of the commission for receiving knighthood. Now she cannot stay any further with the pooped out 60 years old buzzard having androgynous inclinations.” The author tied the knot with the 36-year-old Indian model in New York in 2004. It was his fourth marriage. His previous three also ended in divorce.

The western countries honor those sullied and crude persons who promote vulgarism in the society and vent prejudice against Islam, while they label those having some grains of morality as conservatives. Apple polisher and bootlicker Sulman Rushdie's novels are full of obscenity. In his fourth novel The Satanic Verses he did not spare any effort to project the most revered and sacred religions of the world in insalubrious light to get cheap popularity. In his third novel 'Shame', he denigrated top politicians of Pakistan. The more flagrant and pussyfooter a person is in the western society the more advanced, cultured and sophisticated he is regarded. Where is morality, which they vehemently preach? Where is policy of non-interference, which they fervently sermonize as secularism? Therefore, their commissions have partisan and off beam yardsticks to measure the quality of a publication. According to genuine literary merits, Rushdie should be dipped in the toilets of London infinite times.
