Obama is Not Fooling Me

Barack Hussein Obama's preacher made some fiery and incendiary speeches in the past about America and whites. Obama gave a speech disavowing the preacher's words. He's much to late in doing that.

Back when Jimmy Carter was president he did an interview with Playboy Magazine. His brother, Billy, who was a general screw-up, was asked if he read his brother's interview. He told the interviewer he never got past the pictures! This was just one of the small transgressions from Billy Carter. He was a thorn in his brother's side the entire time Jimmy Carter was president.

Reverend Wright has become a thorn in Barack Hussein Obama's side these days. His remarks have caused quite a stir and Obama has been on the defensive since these have been made public.

There is one big difference between Billy Carter and Reverend Wright. Billy Carter was Jimmy's brother. They were kin. There was nothing Jimmy could do about Billy. Obama is in a much different deal than Jimmy Carter.

Obama chose Reverend Wright. He chose the church. He and his wife were married there. His children were baptized there. He attended church there. So he had an option at any time Reverend Wright made these controversial comments to walk out and just be done with the preacher. He never did that.

Yesterday Obama gave a "major" speech on race in Pennsylvania. Well, I am not fooled by his rhetoric. By not disavowing the preacher's statements when he originally made them Obama has left me believing he agrees with the anti-American and racist comments the pastor made. By distancing himself from the Reverend after the fiery speeches, from the pulpit now, were made public Obama shows his weakness and lack of being upright and forthcoming.

There is no way to make me believe that you are a great American and should even be considered for president when you support a guy who claims America brought 9-11 on herself. But that is what Obama did. He should have left Reverend Wright at that point. He did not. And that is just plain wrong.

So, again, I am not fooled. I will give a good example of what I mean when I say Obama should have just walked out.

When I moved to San Antonio there was hot and heavy action on an issue of building a golf resort over the Edwards Aquifer, which supplies San Antonio's water. The rhetoric was hot on both sides. I went to church one day at the church I chose. The priest gave this long winded sermon about the evils of it all. The resort had to be stopped. I got up during the middle of the homily and walked out of the church. As I was walking out the priest called me out. He asked why I was leaving his church. I replied, "I thought your degree was in theology, not geology!"

That's what Obama should have done when Reverend Wright made the controversial remarks. Just walk away then and there. He'd have shown he was a big man and a great American. As it stands, at least in my book right, he is neither.

Just the fact that you supported building a golf course over an aquifer that supplies the city with water renders you an idiot and your opinions useless. There are these things called pesticides that are used on golf courses, and they are not exactly good for humans.

Poster #1, what you are saying about Obama is exactly what the Germans said about Hilter, before he lead the world to Hell and back again in the 1930s and 1940s. The thing is, Obama hasn't served in Government long enough for anyone to really understand his political and/or personally private views and policies on anything.

Not voting for the war and not voting to support our troops are not good enough reasons in my opinion, especially considering that Obama's position is to talk to governments that support terrorists whom want to convert or kill anyone who doesn't convert to Islam. Remember, his daddy is a Muslim and the apple usually doesn't fall too far from the tree.

I am neither a Obama, Clinton or McCain supporter, because none of these candidates has explained how they plan on doing and paying for anything that they supposedly are running on. They are all very rich and they all have been in office long enough to keep America safe, economically healthy and well-educated, but they all have failed the test. They also all have accepted money and/or gifts from lobbyists weather it was once or many times it doesn't matter.

I personally don't trust any of them and I surely can think for myself and I do get swept up by the energy of either party's supporters and rallies. I vote for the best person for the job.

...impressive that you walked out on a minister, who you disagreed
with. Oh, I do find other people's thinking processes interesting.
This guilt by association is very interesting, I thought your faith was the binder, not the preacher, where would your faith be, in the word, or a man preaching the word? If he becomes a flawed human, as humans are prone to do, do you lose your faith or do you keep it.
Does your faith all depend on, that man and his foibles or lack thereof? Something to think about. Also, has anybody determined how many Catholics left their church, when the news broke about the children being molested? Take a measure of the man, then make a reasoned decision, changes need to be made in this country, who can do that, Hillary and Bill, John McBush? We'll see, if a higher power says it's Obama's turn, then it will be his, in spite of all the rancor, tapes, attacks and whatever else they throw. This does remind me of the David and Goliath battle, we'll see if David wins again. Oh, my choice might have been Mike Huckabee, only because he wanted to eliminate the I.R.S., what a guy. Take care.
