The sticky situation at hand is if a government was to use political culture and popular culture with religious faith, would it be a success? Absolutely not! There would be a fiasco, because religion and politics are two whole different concepts, and the great figures “rule” differently as well.
Overall, religion is outdated to be compatible with popular culture, and is far too utilitarian for political culture strictly speaking of American politics and Puritans. Religious faith is not compatible with politics or popular culture.
Religious faith is definitely not compatible with political culture, mainly due to the fact that the pope has total control and is not voted or kept by vote in his position of power, but is rather elected and remains in position of power as the “top dog” who rules all the classes below he.
Politics say “Freedom, honesty, for the good of the Country,” but religion says “For grace and salvation before the good or privilege of anything else.” While politics say equality for all, religious faith come and ruin that equality when the word “god” is used offending cultures who use the term “gods” and vice-versa.
Politics exclude religion to ensure equality stands and the public is happy with it, otherwise the country/state would fall into a revolution from the unsatisfied quality of life, especially in a democracy. If religion was incorporated into politics, many arguments would arise, and the world would be split not nationally, but religiously, leading to the pope and other religious figures taking control of the massive number of devout followers.
Not only that, but the world would be in chaos once again and all the wars previously fought would be in vain. The world would be engaged in constant warfare, because of the clashing viewpoints. Life on Earth would be a living hell. One good point would be the apocalypse coming around the year 2000, thus proving certain texts to be “better” than others would. In a few words, religion would bring the ultimate demise of the species known as Homo sapiens.
The combination of religious faith and political culture would bring the world into an utter demise. The world would plummet back into a state similar to that of medieval Europe, only instead of charging with cavalry and shining armor, the armies would sit back and watch the shiny metal of a nuclear bomb transform the opposing religion and all land back into the dust from whence it came.
Religious faith brought into politics would separate the world into religious civilizations, where they can plan the destruction of another religion. If the world were to become religiously divided, the next time a plague came would really mark the end of Jewish civilization since they are the scapegoat for every problem that can't be explained through faith.
Science would also falter due to the deep religious faith now bestirred upon them. Of course the weapons would remain for, religious purposes, and only religious purposes. The bottom line is, religious faith with political culture is like sitting in the seat next to an extremely intoxicated driver in a Ferrari.
