What the hell is the world coming to?! The death of Anna Nicole Smith has now monopolized the every news channel for five weeks. Five weeks! This is a woman who contributed nothing to society or the world. She did nothing but consume oxygen, whore herself for attention, and take enormous quantities of drugs for the entirety of her life.
If anything she was a detriment to the world as a whole and we are all better off without her. And yet, it is five weeks later and whenever I turn on the TV or log onto CNN.com I am still bombarded by pointless news articles and features about the even more pointless life of Anna Nicole Smith. What does this say about our society that we are so enamored by a white trash drug addicted drama queen with not two brain cells to boast about?
