Poverty is the No.1 problem in the world. Even the strongest and powerful countries today, suffered un poverty. In the Philippines, almost 3 million people cant buy their basic needs like food, clothes, and roofs above their heads. They lived under the bridges, beside the rivers.
They also lived in crowded areas like squatters. Almost 12 million Filipinos were afraid and threatened because they were living below the poverty line. In U.S.A the poverty rate is 12%. Everyone knows that U.S.A is a powerful and industrialized country, but they also suffered in poverty. They also have homeless citizens, street beggars, and they also need to educate the minds of the poor. The sleeping giant ( also known as CHINA )
Are now standing to give solutions to the poverty they faced. According to the statistics, The poverty rate on China in 2001 was 60%. Leaders made a big moved and changed their economic plans that results to 50% declined in their poverty rate. In the present China's poverty rate was low as 10%.
Unemployment is also a big factor that causes poverty. Here in the Philippines, 7.4% were NOT employed in any sectors. We cant buy our basic needs if we don't have a job. Last November the experts said that Japan's unemployment rate was now lower than of the American's. The unemployment rate of Japan is only 3.4%. In China OUT OF 15 million employees ONLY 8 million jobs were created, resulting to unemployment of 7 million Chinese, and in European Union almost 20 million were not employed, 5 million were homeless and 50 million living below the poverty line. Here in the Philippines ( AGAIN ) we had food shortage, oil crisis. Many women exchanged their dignity ( having sex to others ) for only 2 kilos of rice. That's because of POVERTY.
That's the case, the government cant create enough jobs for their constituents, not only in the Philippines but also in china, America, japan and European union. But politicians can create destructions and billions of bank accounts in their SECRET accounts.
