A Letter to Hillary Supporters: Don't Vote in Anger

(contd.)

Are these 10 ideals so easily afforded? Do you honestly believe that John Mccain deserves to be president? If so, I don't understand how you could have supported Hillary. Please read this and know that there are very few people in this country who want a republican president at this point and that party will do anything to influence your vote, including flat out lying and manipulating people. In all honesty I believe a number of the people who are strongly against Obama are simply republicans pretending to support Hillary in order to convince others to follow.

Please, forward this link to everybody. We need a liberal in office. We need someone who is Honest and fights for people, not corporations. Barack Obama has fought harder than any other candidate for not only election reform but also transparency in the government. You are angry at him and I understand that but voting for Mccain will only ruin the future for our children. Please do not make this mistake. You will regret it.

I understand that you are angry, but don't vote in anger. Vote because you love a candidate and her/his ideals not because you hate the other candidate. Please. You will harm yourself and will regret this more than anything in your life. You will do more to damage the country simply by voting for Mccain than you can possibly believe.

I know that you are angry. It hurts. It feels like a betrayal. Its frustrating and it's sad and you want to lash out, but this is not the appropriate way.

Obama did not break the party, Obama did not write the rules for the elections and Obama did not run strictly to defeat a woman. There were a lot of things that got confusing and a lot of rules that were applied that really came into play here, but the truth of the matter is that Obama has won and if you support the ideals of Hillary you should vote for Obama because his ideals are a lot closer than Mccain's.

I really, truly, honestly hope that you decide against voting John Mccain. This will not benefit anybody.

Please think about the future and get past the anger and frustration.

Mccain is a terrible choice for president and voting for him in protest will do more harm than good. The DNC knows that you support Hillary and you are free to write her in or vote for any other candidate, but please, voting for Mccain is a harmful act. Everything has consequences.
