A review of a statement made by former President Bill Clinton and its impact on voters.
The moderator of MSNBC's Hardball, Chris Matthews, appeared
on Morning Joe, where he spoke out regarding the words and
attitude of the Clintons, particularly in one case. This involved
former President Bill Clinton, speaking at a rally for his wife,
Senator Hillary Clinton. Mr. Matthews made it clear that he was
not endorsing anyone, certainly not Senator Barack Obama, but
that he found it strange that Bill Clinton would say at that rally,
that essentially, he thought it would be nice if we, the American
people had two people, who loved their country, and who knew the
issues, instead of having all this “other stuff” being a distraction.
Mr. Matthews said that in effect, he was amazed at the rhetoric,
coming out of the Clinton campaign, especially this statement. The
Clinton's, as would be expected, see things from their point of view,
which is not always the view, that three hundred million Americans
should or do see the world, according to Mr. Matthews' assessment.
Mr. Matthews wanted to know, what was Mr. Clinton talking about,
all this “other stuff”? Did we, as a country not suffer through eight
years, although the economy was prosperous, and we had very good
job growth, of all this “other stuff”.
Mr. Matthews, was referring to, but he did not state, that the “other
stuff” was the White Water investigation, which went nowhere, the
Travel Gate investigation, which went almost nowhere, the Ken Starr
investigation, involving various women, and costing the country, millions
of dollars, and partially resulting in the unwise impeachment of Bill
Clinton, who kept his presidency, when the Senate did not vote to
remove him from office. So when Mr. Clinton talks about all this
“other stuff”, it would appear, that he may know, just what he
is talking about.
It takes a lot of guts, to say what Mr. Clinton stated, about
all this “other stuff.” For, if we take history into account, who
brings more of the “other stuff” to the table? The Clintons or
Senator Obama, who Mr. Clinton had to be talking about, since
he mentioned two candidates by name and omitted the name
of the third one in the race. To also infer, that Senator Obama
does not love this country, by omitting his name in the equation,
of those who do, Mr. Clinton appears to be exerting the leadership
role, of dictating, who the country should be voting for, in the general
election. If Mrs. Clinton is not going to have all this “other stuff”,
that Mr. Clinton is speaking of, as ambiguous as it sounded, then
does that infer that they will be getting divorced? As recently as
last year, there was a report which alleged, that Mr. Clinton was
involved with a Canadian official, who knows whether true or
not, but if true, would this not be all this “other stuff” that we
went through before. What about the information on the donations
totaling millions of dollars donated to the Clinton Library, in hopes,
as former Senator Bill Bradley, who is supporting Senator Obama's
campaign, which could contain names of individuals, who are
waiting for pay back, possibly, from the administration of a potential,
President Hillary Clinton. Would this not be all this “other stuff”,
that Mr. Clinton referred to? I should indicate that this is a man who
I voted for twice and admired greatly, but lately, has disappointed.
Blind ambition, comes to mind, when looking at this race for the
nomination.
So when Mr. Clinton speaks as he did about all this “other stuff”,
we can all, agree perhaps, that he knows from whence he speaks.
I am lost when it comes to politic, but I enjoy reading your article

...hi guys, IC, Tracy, Andy-N, thanks to all
of you for your comments. It would be funny,
and it is laughable at times, but these
people are part of our choice to govern
the country, and it's kind of scary.
