The primaries over now is the time to get down to business with the general election. It is true that some folks wept when Hillary Clinton gave her concession speech while others rejoiced thinking that now we are over the Clinton era. The truth is that both Hilary Clinton and Barack Obama are true patriots who are strong party members and shall stick together for the election. Political watchers in Washington, D.C. believe that Hillary has emerged even stronger than before she entered into the primaries despite her loss. The advisors estimate that about eighteen million votes went toward Hilary Clinton, which gives her a lot of influence. The fact that she is now walking along side Barack Obama is helping her to gain influence, respect and power in the political city of D.C.
Hilary Clinton
Hilary Clinton born October 26, 1947 in Illinois now resides in Chappaqua, New York. Hillary the only daughter of Hugh Ellsworth Rodham and Dorothy Emma Howell has two brothers Hugh Rodham Jr. and Tony Rodham. Hillary father was a sales representative for a textile factory when he met Dorothy Emma Howell and after a courtship, they soon were married. Dorothy was a homemaker, stay at home mother who encouraged her children to get an education. Hilary went to Yale and attained her degree in law working as an attorney. Hilary met then William Clinton and they were married having one daughter Chelsea. Hilary not only worked as an attorney in the state of Arkansas but also became the first lady of Arkansas after her husband elected governor of the state. Then Hilary became the first lady of the United States after her husband Bill became president for two terms. Hilary served in many committees' helping our country with many of our social and economic problems during her tenor as the first lady. She is now the acting Senator of New York State and one of the leading campaigners in the nomination for president in the Democratic Party. She may have lost the primary but not the battle because Hilary Rodham Clinton maintains a lot of political clout in the eyes of many who are in the Senate.
Barack Obama
Barack Obama born August 4, 1961 in the state of Hawaii now resides in the state of Illinois. Barack father a herdsman from Kenya and his mother Ann Dunham are from the state of Kansas. Barack Obama married Michelle in 1992 and now resides in Chicago with his family of two daughters Malia and Sasha. Barack attended the University of Columbia and graduated with degrees in Political sciences in 1983. Barack elected as the U.S. Senator from Illinois and sworn in office January 4, 2005 has shown his ability to be a leader in the political arena. Barack has a strong believe in the American justice system and is not afraid to push forward for the country. Barack fought a very good fight against Hilary in the primary and finally ended in victory. Barack claims that his victory is not only for himself but also for all the American people and that his victory in the main election will most certainly be a victory for everyone. Barack Obama and his family attend the United Church of Christ and plan on putting true religion back into our country. A facet that Mr. Bush used but abused after he took office, which put a cloud over our government causing many people to become discouraged. Barack feels that using religion and the leaders to win an election but not really sticking to his so called beliefs has caused some of the major disasters we have seen both on the home front and over seas.
The Patriots Working Together
Now that the primary election is over the two Patriots plan on helping each other and keeping the democratic party strong. Barack may not ask Hilary to be his running mate but he most certainly plans to use her influence and wisdom to win the election. Mr. Obama claims that after his win he plans to use the Clintons in the White House for other major positions. The Clinton reign is not over by a long shot and both Bill and Hilary are well aware of that factor. The primary is just a means to build one's status and help gain more influential contacts. The primary is a great way to help Hilary maintain her status in politics as leader. The bashing over, the true lies said now is time for the two candidates to join forces against their political foe in the Republican Party and show their true patriotic selves.
