Clinton has taken the gloves off and has raged an all or nothing smear campaign against Obama with millions of African American watching. For too long the Democratic Party has taken for granted the Black Vote. There is a strong sentiment that Black folks should go independent if Clinton wins the nomination or if Obama loses the presidency based on the turmoil the Democratic Party is going through now. The Republican has their nominee. Why is it so hard for the Democrats to pick there's?
Obama is winning in the popular vote and he has more delegates. What are they waiting for? McClain is getting stronger by the second and the Democratic Party is making the world and the black community waits for Obama. This is the will of America, not just the black community. We want change and we want it now.
Even Clinton was to somehow win she will need Obama to run with her which he has already given his opinion on that. Obama is relatively young and popular. If he doesn't win he can come back stronger then ever. Clinton has backed herself into a whole. She has turned off black voters and female voters with her attack campaign. She has single handedly destroyed the Clinton name in the black community and is in dangerous of destroying the ties of African American voters ties with Democratic party. She can't win this way.
She has not only ruined her reputation in the black community but that of the Democratic Party. We are all in danger of another white Republican male with the same “Brush wack” mentality of being president. Blacks will most likely boycott the upcoming election if Obama isn't running. That will hurt the Democratic Party severely. Low minority turn out in the past presidential race if proof of that.
I think its time for a change. Let's not let things like color, race, religion, and gender get in the way of change. America is ready for black president. America is ready for a change in direction. America is ready for Obama.
