Hillary Clinton

Is she for real or not?

There has been a lot of controversy between the candidates of this year's Presidential Election of 2008. One of the candidates that has been under the spotlight for quite a while is Hillary Clinton. The first female candidate with a legitimate chance of taking the throne as President of the United States, wife of the infamous Bill Clinton who was in office 15 years ago. We all know the story. But is she the leader we need guiding our nation through these dark times? Or will she bring our powerful country down to the ashes we once were 230 years ago?

Just the thought of having a female leader can send chills down the spines of some extremists out there. I have a talent of eavesdropping, getting information I need about various topics, and I have heard this one thing very many times. As said by anonymous sources, “We cannot have Hillary as our President. What will happen to our world when her "time of the month" comes?” And also, if you have been watching the news on updates on the candidacy, Hillary has broken down to tears at least 3 times so far, from foreign affairs to “expressing” her feelings about the pressure she's under.

Now I am not saying that I am for or against her, I'm just laying down the facts and things to think about. But honestly, could we really have a leader who breaks down into tears? That's not a good sign, especially if she's going to lead our country.

Let's look at her from another perspective. She's a Clinton. Everyone knows the problems her husband caused and dealt with over a decade ago. Between the issues on “I did not have sexual relations with that woman” and literally letting Osama bin Laden go, he wasn't the best president we've had. I mean come on Bill, everyone knows you boinked Miss Lewinsky, and because of it, you've given Hillary a bad name.

What about Change? That has been the big topic so far in this race for presidency. But who made it up? It wasn't McCain, Huckabee, Romney, or Clinton. It was Obama. Yes, Obama, the man who is believed to be our economy's worst nightmare. What will Clinton change for our nation? That is one question that many people are still asking.

What will become of her? She is already falling behind the race, with Obama ahead of her for the Democratic vote, and McCain, dominating the Republic vote. If she becomes President, what will become of us? What will become of the world?
