In the presidential election that will take place this year in November, there are two candidates that represent so much more than just Democrats and Republicans. McCain, the republican candidate, represents the ideas of staying the course in Iraq, keeping much of the same goal of the current administration and a view of him as a candidate with much of the old ideals of past generations.
Obama is the first Afro-American to run this late for president and while his race is not ordinary there are many retractors, but he should not be looked by his origins or color, but to really be judge like any other person in this planet would like to be judged for who he is. If this race is to become of black or white, we can kiss democracy good bye. As long as people base their votes in superficial things the society will be in a dwindling spiral. If McCain or Obama are the right candidate let them be and lead this country, but base on who of the two candidates can improve oil crisis, mortgage rates, healthcare system, etc. There is no such thing as everything stays the same. Look out the window and you will see the climate that is changing this world. There is no need to be stubborn or follow what someone else says, it’s time to decide by yourself. Not only because you are a democrat you will vote democrat. Not only because you are republican you will go republican. There is the human right to choose which one will be the best president for the US.
Learn for what both stand for and choose base on reason. Nothing else is needed to make a choice that will please you.
