Obama and Mccain Hit Hard at Final Debate

According to Fox, people are sick and tired of negative politics and that's why all indicators are pointing toward an Obama victory on November four.

Headline: “Candidates Hit Hard at Final Presidential Debate”.

This is absolutely the last chance for McCain to prove that he is credible in a controlled setting. How did he do?

The article introduces McCain as follows: “John McCain, sitting just a few feet from Barack Obama atr the final presidential debate Wednesday, tried to recharge his campaign with a volley of accusations directed at Obama's honesty, judgment and tax-burdened Americans”. Wow. This channel certainly isn't pro John McCain. If all McCain can do now is hurl “a volley of accusations” at Obama without offering any new ideas, this pretty much hands the new keys to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue to Obama after Bush leaves.

In stark contrast, the intro about Obama is much more favorable and pleasant: “Obama calmly attempted to deflect every charge, accusing McCain of going negative in the final weeks of the campaign and distorting the facts about Obama's past associations and record”.

If we go by this analysis, Obama will easily defeat McCain on November 4 because let's face it. If people are as sick and tired of the Bush administration as news reports and polls claim they are, they surely will not want someone who has "gone negative", especially not “in the final weeks of the campaign” after going negative for so much of the primaries and caucuses and the general election before this final debate.
