Palin for America

Some of the views of Sara Palin.

Sara Palin is in the news again stating her opinion on what is right for America. In an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network Palin said that she supports a federal ban on gay marriages.

Unlike her running-mate, John McCain, Sara Palin feels this should be an issue settled at the federal level. John McCain seems to think it should be allowed by the states and the federal government should not take over the authority of the states.

Sara Palin, as many of us, is not trying to discriminate or hold back those individuals who hold onto the belief of an alternative lifestyle. In a debate with the Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Sara Palin said she is "tolerant" of gays and supports limited right's to same- sex couples such as hospital visitation rights

Sara Palin voted with the people of Alaska when they voted to amend the constitution as defining a marrriage as between one man and one woman. Sara Palin as with many conservatives believes that a traditional family is the foundation for strong families. This says more than just her opposition to same sex couples. It says something about all families.

Divorce is no different. This action will shake the foundation of a family and often it can not be overcome. We as Americans need to learn to provide strong family ties and bonds and to raise our children ethically with a firm set of good beliefs. Is Sara Palin on the right track?

She has not changed her views to meet her running-mate. She has held her own. Will it help her is something we will learn in a few short weeks. As sure as the flag waves, the Constitution stands and people vote we should select an unwavering candidate that believes in the basic principles of our Founding Father's.

There are things that happen in our world this day and time the signers of The Constitution could not have understood or apprehended in their day. I am sure that having an abortion was not thought of in the days of signing of the Constitution or The Declaration of Independence . Yet now is is considered a Right. A Right to many while discriminating against many more.

Yes, you heard me right. It may be a womans body but undoubtedly there was the chance that she chose to share it with a partner. In the meanwhile a pregnancy occured and now you have another involved. Yet, it is the woman who gets the choice not the father. It is the pregnancy that is terminated without the knowledge of the fact that someone would take it and care for it.

I do not want to get into a debate over these issues. I am just stating what I see, hear, and think. It is the politicians who will hear our word and hopefully make the right Choice. Sara Palin seems to be in tune with the basic morals and foundation blocks of our country. With this in mind we must understand that she has not in the past changed her views in order to attain any political agenda.

Knowing the basic beliefs of our Founding Fathers isn't it time to make a stand across America for the perfect candidate? Let someone in office who does not seem to ride the fence on every issue important to our country. Elect someone who will stand up for The United States. Palin is the candidate for an explosive America.

Being on the ticket with John McCain could possibly hurt her chances for getting in the White House. We all know that it is tough to decide whether to spend or not with the economy in the shape it is in. Because of this reason I am torn on my vote as well. I think Sara Palin in her recent interview on gay marriage has caused me to tip back over to the Republican Party. A country would be of no use if it had a thriving economy and no basic norms and values that could be instilled upon the younger generations.
