A major endorsement gave Senator Barack Obama a tremendous boost in
the race for the democratic nomination. Senator Ted Kennedy, the lion of the
Senate, as he has been called by some, the last of the Kennedy brothers dynasty,
his son Patrick, and Senator Kennedy "s niece, Caroline, collectively endorsed
Senator Obama for the nominee of the Democratic party. In effect, giving him their
blessing and the tireless effort of Senator Kennedy campaigning for the Senator.
Mr. Kennedy gave an inspiring speech insisting that Mr. Obama will be ready on
day one, to assume the presidency, invoking Senator Hillary Clinton"s exact words.
Senator Kennedy stated that it's time to turn the page on the divisive politics of
gender against gender, race against race, ethnic group against ethnic group.
He
said that Senator Obama is inspiring people to reach a new frontier, to unite to
meet our own destiny. He appeals to our better angels, Senator Kennedy said,
he has the power to make America good again, from sea to shining sea.
Caroline Kennedy stated, that she had found someone who inspired her, as people
said her father, John F. Kennedy inspired them. She made a commercial for Senator
Obama, talking about that inspiration, and Mr. Obama reaching out to all people. In
the ad, they used footage of her late father along with Senator Obama. Caroline
Kennedy is a shy person, according to reports, so she must really be inspired by Mr.
Obama to speak out in a commercial on his behalf.
Senator Kennedy will be campaigning for Senator Obama in the states of California,
New York, New Jersey, Arizonia, and New Mexico. During his endorsement, he
stated that he can feel change in the air, and that America's best days are ahead,
but we must have the courage to change. The best one to do that, he felt, was Senator
Obama. When Mr. Kennedy endorses someone, he goes all out for that person,
with organization and enduring effort, he will do so this time as well.
Now it will become Senator Kennedy against former President Bill Clinton, on behalf of
their respective candidates, which makes this campaign a much fairer fight. From here
on we say, let the battle begin.
The knight has received his sword and the blessing from
the remaining elder member of the Camelot era, and the younger members of the Kennedy
dynasty. The Senator must now go forward and deliver his message to those who are
waiting to know, what his plans and policies are for our country, and for them and their
families, to see if they trust him to lead the charge into the future.
