Tennessee in the National Spotlight Again

Democratic shenanigans in the volunteer state.

So, a TN democratic legislator's son is being investigated for hacking into the republican vice presidential nominee's email and what has happened? It's just a small matter of breaking the law. There is no history of law breaking by democrats in TN…or is there? There is the small matter of Harold Ford and his corruption conviction and Ophelia Ford's state senate election being thrown out because of voter fraud. Let's not forget democratic Gov. Ray Blanton selling pardons or Democratic Party big wig Jake Butcher and his banking fiasco. And almost forgotten by history are Paul Cantrell and Pat Mansfield who ruled McMinn County through voter fraud and violence until McMinn County veterans returned from WWII and put an end to the corruption at The Battle of Athens, TN in 1946.

How does our illustrious state legislature (democratic controlled) respond to such violations of public trust? It passes legislation allowing convicted felons to be returned to the voting rolls thus assuring Ophelia's return to the state senate. They are still working on the sticky issue of the dead people who voted for Ophelia in the election which was thrown out.

Nationally, the democrats have been more than helpful in promoting voter fraud; Pres. Bill Clinton's “Motor Voter Registration” has allowed millions of un-qualified voters to be added to the rolls. You know, non citizens, people who have moved out of their registered districts, people who have died and not been removed from the rolls, convicted felons. Honest hardworking taxpayers like you, right?

This is not surprising since one line from the democratic national platform reads: “We oppose laws that require identification in order to vote or register to vote.” That's encouraging, isn't it? No chance of fraud there. With the possibility of this election being as close as the past two, every honest vote counts and the democrats want to insure that every dishonest vote counts, too, or two or three.
