The United Stated election is one of the most talked about topics of the year. What is interesting is that even local newspapers of different countries post articles and opinions about this coming election. I have this in mind for how many weeks, and it's still bugging me. The questions I have in mind are: “Why should other nations care about the election?”, and “What difference would it make if Clinton or Obama wins?” I would just like to share some of my thoughts, and I hope you give me your feedbacks.
- Corruption in the government has been there for many centuries already, and the question is, “Will corruption stop if one of the candidates would win the election?”
- Will people not also rally against that certain candidate who will win the election because of the allegations against him/her?
- What would happen to Iraq? Will their project still push through although there will be a new president?
We find that other countries are also having opinions about this election. It is mainly because the candidate who would win the election might change everything that was done before; that person could even stop negotiations. Talking about the power and money of the United States, it would really threaten other countries. We never know, maybe the next day they will declare war on you, will it not threaten you?
