Who Will be the Next President, Obama or Mccain?

In this year's Presidential election, both candidates would make history. If John McCain is voted into the highest office as the next President, he would be the oldest President to get elected into the White House. Barack Obama would definitely make history by becoming the first African-American President.

In this year's Presidential election, both candidates would make history. If John McCain is voted into the highest office as the next President, he would be the oldest President to get elected into the whitehouse.

Barack Obama would definitely make history by becoming the first African/American President, if he is elected as President this fall.

The Democratic Presidential nominee has been criticized alot by his rival, the Republican Presidential nominee John McCain, and other critics that he is inexperienced when it comes to foreign policy.Obama is travaling to the Middle East and Europe and to gain foreign policy credibility. He met with the Afghan President Hamid Karzai this past Sunday in Kabul. Obama said the United States needs to turn its focus from Iraq to Afghanistan in its battle against terrorism. The Democratic Senator has criticized the Afghan President in the past for not doing enough to rebuild the war torn nation. Obama also travaled to Iraq, where he met with the Prime minister Nouri al-Maliki and his administration. He also met with the head of the U.S.A army in Iraq General Petreus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker. He made it clear that if he is elected as President, he would bring the American troops Home within 16 months, the Iraqi Prime minister supports Obama's withdrawal plans.

The Repulican nominee, John McCain has criticized the lllinois Senator' foreign policy vision, McCain said if he is elected President, he would end the war in Afghanistan with a comprehensive stategy for victory. He also stressed nonmilitary assistance to the Afghan government and economy, and the promotion of alternative crops as a way to end drug trafficking in the region. McCain added that special attention must be paid to Pakistan, " where terrorists today enjoy sanctuary". He suggested stengthening local tribes that are willing to fight terrorists.Also nonmilitary assistance to the civilian government is recommended.

Athough the two candidates have different opinions and experience when it to foreign policy, they will both make history if elected. Continue to watch the election coverage and unfolding events to help make your choice.
