Wright's on the rampage again. His mouth overflows with rants of how whites are out to "kill" blacks in our society. Bedeviled by hatred and paranoia, his preachings leave little room for "uniting" (as Barrack Obama would say) anything or anybody. Wright, the spiritual leader, of Barrack Obama (current forerunner of the Democratic campaign) breeds nothing less than fanaticism similar to extreme Islamic insanity. Literally, where the hell are we headed as a nation if Obama succeeds in grabbing the presidential seat?
Without a doubt, the so-called "Reverend" Wright is not saying anything differently now than what he has been preaching over the years that the Democratic candidate, Barrack Obama, has been actively attending his religious services. A zebra does not change his stripes. Neither has pastor Wright over the years (or Obama, for that matter). And, without a doubt, candidate Obama came into this presidential race fully aware of Wright's stand on America, whites, Jews, 9-11, and where we stand as a nation with respect to "God" (at least Reverend Wright's interpretation of "God"). Yet, he embraced the good Reverend and his beliefs for many years. Wright's teachings and preachings are no strangers to him. In fact, they make up his spiritual being. And our spiritual being is the very foundation upon which we build the rest of our world. What you believe is what you ARE, what you will BECOME, and what you will GIVE to this planet before you leave.
The distancing that we are seeing now of Barrack Obama from his long-time associate, pastor, and mentor is as fake as a three-dollar bill. Why now is he denouncing Wright's position? And, if he does feel so strongly in disfavor of the "good" pastor's words, how is it that he chose such a philosophy to build his spiritual being upon for so many years? And, if those words are NOT what he chose to build his spiritual being upon, WHAT in God's name is he doing as an active member in that religious community, pray tell?
There is little doubt that any politician leaves much to be desired in terms of honesty and sincerity; however, the arrogance of Obama, who displays a quite distinct nose-in-the-air attitude, is not only kidding our society, he's kidding himself. He truly believes, and so does most of the nation apparently, that he is a true representative of African-Americans in this country. BUT, what does he share in common with them? His ancestors never suffered through the hell of slavery. He was raised by a white mother and white grandparents and knew little of what it was like to grow up either black or deprived from very much of anything. He attended the best of colleges and doesn't have a clue of what it's like to be denied the access to proper education. He only shares the color of his skin with African-Americans in our society. And then, again, only partially. America is fooling itself to believe that Barrack Obama represents anyone other than Barrack Obama.
Up to this time in his campaign, Obama has been blanketly promising "change" for America. That's nice. What kind of a change is he talking about? He never goes far enough to define himself or his policies, protecting himself in generalities, and comforted by the fact that so many people want "change" so badly that they forget to ask themselves what kind of a change he's talking about. The result: blanket votes from young folks who never had enough experience in life to ask the strong questions (you develop that with age, it seems) or to examine the viability of campaign messages, and the majority of people whose resources and "hope" have been exhausted by a conniving government.
While "change" and "hope" are wonderful things to propose, there has to be a stronger premise to make these proposals VIABLE. And it's that stronger premise that Obama lacks. To date, he has been very skilled at making rhetorical promises, but a country cannot survive on rhetoric alone. Given Obama's overall "pie-in-the-sky" promises that are unsupported by a solid proposal for change to warrant all that "hope" that he's passing around, as well as his past and current association with individuals whose beliefs are unlikely to better this country on any level, Obama's win for the Presidency will be our loss.
