South Carolina's Favourite Son Won't be Running for Presidency

November 1st 2008 it was announced on Stephen Colbert's television show, “The Colbert Report” that Colbert had was denied his application onto the ballot to run in South Carolina, by South Carolina's Democratic Executive Council. A mighty blow to our fearless leader, Colbert fans alike too, felt the rebound from this dire news. We were Defeated.

We remember when Colbert first announced his candidacy on the show, with his surprise appearance on the Daily Show, and have been tracking his campaign since. We marched along side him in his campaign to truly make America a Colbert Nation, with a an American flag in one hand, a bag of Doritos chips in the other, wearing a wriststrong bracelet, all while reading his best seller, “I Am America and so Can You!” In front, struts Stephen Colbert, one of the most influential and powerful beings in the history of the 21st century. We remember all his great accomplishments, recently master crafting his own word, dueling with tycoon Richard Branson and singing a duet with the living legend, Tony Bennett. He has been honored, with a holiday, a jet, an ice cream flavour, a mascot, and a key to the city Columbia, South Carolina.

Today marks a major tragedy in the Colbert nation but we can't let this defeat us. We must lend our strength to our leader to give him the power he needs to overcome this difficult blow and push him back up onto the pedestal where he proudly stood. We must show him our support and our loyalty to him. Email the Colbert nation to lend Stephen strength and to give him the support to rise up again stronger. Copy this link and it to every Colbert fan you know and practice being a good citizen by converting people who aren't already Colbert fans. Like a mother eagle soaring over her young, we'll be watching you Stephen.
