This is a list of political pledges that you are unlikely to hear from a Presidential candidate. |
- There will be no new wars under my administration
- The price of oil will come down by half or more
- Taxes will increase because we really need the revenue
- There will be no lies or deception while I'm the President
- I look forward to working with both Democrats and Republicans
- None of my staff will stand to profit while working in my administration
- Special interest groups will not influence me
- We will make great gains in reducing the impact of Global Warming
- I will not select justices on the Supreme Court with a political agenda
- I will protect your privacy interests. We will substantially revise the Patriot's Act.
- The War of Terrorism will be over by the time I leave office
- Our troops will be out of Iraq by the time I leave office
- The housing crisis will be over. Our credit ratings will be phenomenal.
- Our country will be respected around the world
- There will be no scandals while I'm your leader
- We will have a budget surplus by the time I leave office
- Our trade deficits will disappear
- Every American will have health insurance
- There will be no corruption and spending abuse in the defense department
- Our transportation system will be the envy of the world. We will double our expenditures on our roads and our bridges.
