Thirteen tribal men killed and seven other wounded in a bomb blast at North Waziristan tribal area of Pakistan Wednesday.
Pakistani officials have confirmed the incident and said that the tribal men were going from Hangu to the North Waziristan when their vehicle hit the landmine.
'All the casualties are local tribal men' said an official on the condition of anonymity.
Elsewhere in the same area, the local Taliban insurgents attacked on Pakistani forces and killed two soldiers.
Officials have claimed that 10 insurgents were also killed in the fight.
The North and South Waziristans are fully controlled by the local Taliban militants who have killed and abducted hundreds of security men since an agreement between the insurgents and the Pakistani government was split.
