Nepal Votes in Historic Election

This is one very big step for Nepal in the path to democracy, a very crucial and important Election.

Indeed in this article this is a very historical step for the development of Nepal. Nepal is currently a monarchy. These important votes are for one reason only and they are to eradicate the monarchy. Many of the officials say that things have been going very smoothly. Despite three deaths of three citizens things have gone fairly peacefully. Among one of the three people that were killed was an independent candidate. The way that these three innocent, and peaceful citizens died, is in sorts of brawls and voting poll violence.

Many correspondents say that Thursday's voting was a lot more peaceful than day of the run-up polls. No matter what the past violence and the future violence have and will be triggered by ethnic differences. Many government officials have high hopes along with the rest of the country. A high turnout is expected after the voting that went on Thursday. Things have been going on in Nepal fairly fast. An example is that in 2005 King Gyanendra went into full power of the country. Nothing short of a year later, the king is forced to give up his power just because of pro-democracy protests. The king since then has no power of the people or armies. These voting results is hoped to fix the absence of power into something satisfying for everybody.

Personal Reflection

Personally and in a professional matter I believe that any country that is dedicated to later and soon become a democracy is a country that is well on its way to becoming an influential power. I respect this monarchy, though in many ways it has been corrupt, but this challenged monarchy knows better than to fight a lost argument. The spirit of the people of Nepal is very great in my opinion.

It is so great that a dedication among the people has almost eradicated something that is unwanted. These united people know what it is they agree with and what it is they disagree with. Their influential power in the government is going to come a long way and it is going to only benefit them if they discover how to truly taking the advantage of free speech. Now free speech might be a long time from now or maybe not. Either way the country is heading in a direction where it can do them no harm unless they choose to listen to the group of stubborn knuckleheads that are so attached to the past, which they will revert back to their old ways.
