At last!
If only the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 could speak, these could be the first two words that will come out of its mouth.
July 22, 2008, could well be another date to be recorded in the history books of the Philippines. Six long years need to pass before NAIA Terminal 3, the very controversial airport in the Philippines could be opened. As I can remember, it was in 2002 when the Supreme Court of the Philippines voided the multi-million peso contract for the construction of NAIA Terminal 3 due to onerous, disadvantageous and unlawful provisions.
An official of the Manila International Airport Authority said that a total of about 16 domestic flights were scheduled during the partial operations of NAIA 3.
