Health in Brazil

A description of the current status of Brazil's Health.

Health in Brazil is poor, many people are dying each day in the big cities and the favelas. This is because of certain diseases such as cholera. An example of how bad the health is in poor areas can be shown in the infant mortality rate where it is worst than most other countries. Doctors are lacking throughout the country so many people will not be able to get proper treatment.

Statistics have shown that Brazilians with African descendants are more at risk of getting AIDS, TB, prostate cancer and sickle-cell anaemia. This proves that just being from a different background can effect your health in Brazil.

Great topic, but I was hoping for a more in-depth review of the situation.
