What could have possibly went wrong?
The rising star Jennifer Hudson is an Oscar winning actress and aspiring singer with a beautiful strong voice. Her mother, Darnell Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson, was shot and killed on Friday, October 24, 2008. Her sister, Julia Hudson, seven year old son, Julian King, was reported missing soon after the slayings along with one of the family members white suburban. An amber alert was issued immediately following this horrible family tragedy. Julia Husdon’s estranged husband, William Balfour, was taken into custody and Julian was not with him.
Monday morning the police found a white Chevrolet suburban with a body of a boy inside. Neighbors on the west side of Chicago reported the SUV to be suspicious. It had been there all weekend and something just wasn’t right about it. After watching the news Lynette Louden, a resident where the vehicle was found, told her husband to write down the license plate number. Sure enough it was the suburban that authorities had been looking for since Friday. If you would just look from the outside of the vehicle you could not see a body in it. The front windows did not have tint but the back did. Police did not disclose information on how many times he had been shot or where he had been shot. The SUV was found two miles from where William Balfour was arrested at a home they had searched. Later that morning family members identified the body as being Julian King.
There’s so much speculation about what happened and why it happened but there is no true theory as of yet. It is rumored that this tragedy may have been fueled by a fight on the morning of the murders, reported by CNN. It is reported by the Chicago Tribune that the motive could be related to unpaid car payments. The auto loan company informed Julia’s employer that they were seeking a court order to garnish her wages to pay off the debt. It remains domestic related until further investigation.
Person of Interest: William Balfour is currently on parole and in custody because of unrelated parole violations. He missed an appointment with his parole officer on Friday because he said that he was babysitting. His officer said that he thought he heard a child in the background during that phone call on Friday reported by AP. He served seven years in prison for attempted murder due to hijacking. Some say that he shouldn’t have been out on the streets due to a prior bust in June for drug possession while on parole. Balfour’s mother said that the charges were dropped due to lack of probable cause evidence. “Julia put the drugs in his car” stated Michele Davis-Balfour. She also stated that Julia was mad that William had dated someone else and that her son had nothing to do with the slayings and that he is wrongly accused. His also stated that he had an alibi, which was supposedly with two of his girlfriends. She said that her other son told her that William was with Diana at night and another young lady named Taye in the morning. Investigators are reporting that one of the two girlfriends contradicted Williams’ alibi.
