Your article is a bit rough but if your point is that there is blood on the hands of corrupt Governments including the US it is clearly evident.

The terrorst attacks at face value are at least an act of war. Of course it is evident that Iraq had nothing to do with that.

The fact is there is many unanswered questions about that tragic day.

But one thing we know for sure, is all Governments are corrupt to the core and driven by flat out greed.

USA did not drop the nukes in Japan as a last resort. Be it because of a misunderstanding, or intentionally, the reason why the Japan refused to surrender was because USA would accept nothing less than what they called \"unconditional surrender\". To Japan, that meant the Emperor and his family would be killed. They refused to accept that, and counterproposed that USA granted the safety of the royal family. USA refused. Japan braced to fight and USA used that as an excuse to drop the bombs. They wanted to drop the bomb. And you dropped not only one, but two. Arthur Silber wrote about this more than once and one of the essays can be found here.

You should read, and learn. The drop of the bombs was as much of a last resort as it was to rage war on Iraq because the diplomacy failed since Iraq failed to comply with the USA demands. Iraq DID comply with all the USA demands, and it did not stop the war. You should learn some of history and stop believing in your government propaganda. And no, I am not American. I am Brazilian.

your history is all wrong, there are political reasons for the 9-11 disaster but very few of them have to do with iraq. please if you read this article, find other more reliable sources. Especially when it comes to al-qaidas reasons for the attack.
Bystander, yes i know that the U.S dropped the atom bombs on Japan as a last resort. I was just trying to get my point across. Like I said earlier, I am very sorry about that.

USA, America WAS in the gulf war. Then again, you need to ask yourself is Kuwait in the U.S? In this war it just so happens the U.S took sides with Kuwait. Also, when I said in the article that "Iraq had never threatened or raged war on the United States in any way possible" I meant directly.

I hope that clears up some comments :)

Here's the difference. Japan was ruthless in it's surprise attack on Pearl Harbor. Killing our service men when they knew they would be off on Holiday. Good, strategically speaking, but asking for Hell on Earth.

During the war, Japan utilized Kamikaze tactics. They ran out of ammo, they plowed their planes, etc into our aircraft carriers, claiming more lives.

If the U.S. had further pushed a land war against Japan, it may never have ended. So many people, with such patriotism...please.

While the nukes should have been a last resort, they did accomplish the goal and SAVED many lives in the long run. We were in Iraq(from what we've all been told) for much the same reason. To stop an out-of-control regime from needlessly taking the lives of the innocent.

Now, if you're done comparing apples and oranges, I'll go back to reading well-thought-out Digg stories.
