Hi Ronald, yes, you're right about how amazing it is for a country to act as one in times of need. I guess I'm lucky because here in the Philippines, we always get hit by storms. It's a normal part of our July-September months. And everytime it gets out of hand and seriously causes damage to our fellowmen, one can always expect to receive unsolicited help. However, we're still not as fortunate as China with regards to their leader. Ours would just go to the calamity area only for publicity. The Chinese PM actually worked with the volunteers with his bare hands.
This article really touched my heart and I am not ashamed to say that it brought a few tears too. It is amazing to see how can country get together so fast to help each other. The one that touched my heart the most was the homeless person. He put others first and I hope after all this is over (if it is ever over) he will find some luck.

And I really agree with Jim. Everybody stamps China as a bad communist country and yet the PM was there a few hours after and not only he was there but he was helping. How many PM can do that? My guess is 1. I would to know where that donkey Bush was when Katrina happened.

Let's see. China is a savage country, yet their Prime Minister was at the site of the tragedy right away. Think Bush & Katrina. Who is really savage?
