Senator Hillary Clinton: Secretary of State?

It's all a matter of politics, and being magnanimous, after you have run and won, an almost flawless campaign for the presidency. In addition to trying to do what is best for the country, as a whole. President-Elect Barack Obama , met with Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton, soon after the election was over, at his offices in Chicago. The meeting was not publicly announced, but reporters are staked out everywhere, watching everything. The report was put out, and the speculation began. She was being considered for the position of Secretary of State, this has never been confirmed, by either the Obama transition team, or the staff of Senator Clinton.

But the speculation has grown, because neither of the groups have dismissed it as incorrect. So the story swirls. After the meeting between the two, it was reported that Senator Clinton, was going to think about accepting the position.. Senator Clinton is very much qualified to be a very good Secretary of State, especially with all the countries that she has touted as visiting, during her tenure as First Lady. There have been many changes of the heads of state, since she occupied the White House with her husband, but Mrs. Clinton is a very astute woman, and she works and plays well with others, especially regarding diplomacy and foreign affairs.

If she is asked to take the position, if she accepts, and if she is confirmed, she will do an excellent job, if she acts on the behalf of the President and the country, and puts her ambition on hold, for possibly, the next eight years. This is also, President-Elect Obama's method of eliminating his strongest competitor for the election, in 2012. Quite shrewd and smart, in some opinions, Obama seems to always try to think, two steps ahead of the current events. There is the little problem of former Bill Clinton's Philanthropic work, in all parts of the world, where he raises millions, for AID's, and works to raise cash for his presidential library, as well as speaking to groups, when ever requested. Last year, he reportedly received nineteen million dollars in fees for his speeches. There is a process in effect, to vet the former president's activities, to be sure that there are no conflicting things, which would preclude the confirmation of his wife as Secretary of State. There might also be, an agreement set up for the future, regarding the former president's activities, around the world, so that there will not be any kind of conflict, between his work and his wife's job, as Secretary of State, for the Obama administration.

It was reported by the Guardian newspaper of London, that the position, had been formally offered to Senator Clinton. The report is, if all is true, that Senator Clinton, will not have a problem being confirmed by her Senate colleagues, as they regard her as a hard worker in the Senate, a smart person, and well liked by most, regardless of the drama, that sometimes surrounds her husband. The offer to Senator Clinton, by President-Elect Obama, shows in some respects, the ability of Obama to forgive for the good of all, many bruising shots which were taken by Senator Clinton and her husband, during the campaign, at Obama, we will not reprieve them, it's a brand new day. The President-Elect, took on the Clinton machine, and proved to all, thanks to the American people, believing that he was the more capable person to lead the Nation, regardless of some believing that he could not be elected, including Senator Clinton, that he could win, and he did. A strong show of confidence in his ability to lead, also a beautiful showing of his magnanimity.

Sarah Palin: Reasons to be Scared

Much has been made of Barack Obama's middle name being Hussein and his practicing of Islam (or possible lack thereof). Seeing as these are extremely pretty arguments, why hasn't Sarah Palin's name been mentioned more often? If you re-arrange the letters of that you get "Sharia Plan". If you want a better understanding of that, you may want to research it yourself. Getting information and sources for it online aren't simple, and as such I have no intention of writing information that I can't back-up online on the issue. BBC News has some information on a case involving Sharia law for anyone looking to learn some more about it. In relation to religion, Palin is a fundamentalist Christian. This means she takes everything in the Bible completely seriously. She believes in Creationism and opposed to Evolution. Despite all the proof backing up Evolution, she continues to try and promote Creationism despite the fact that many churches and church members have admitted it is meant to be a metaphorical story, not a literal one.

Most people know the story of Troopergate by now. If not, you can use the previous link to learn more about it. In short, Palin is alleged to have fired a police commissioner because he would not fire an officer, who was in a custody battle with Palin's sister. If this is true, it would prove to be a major abuse of power on Palin's part. If she is capable of doing this without so much as a guilty conscience at state level, it is a worrying thought to consider what she might be capable of at presidential level.

Barack Obama's lack of experience has been mentioned on dozens of occasions by the McCain campaign, but if anything has been learned from Obama's campaign, it is that the man sure knows how to mastermind and control one hell of an organisation. Obama may have only been a Senator since January 2005, but he has more experience as a Senator than Palin has as even a Governor. Palin hasn't even been a Senator. She knows next to nothing about anything outside her state. The thought of a "hockey mom" becoming Vice President (and quite possibly President as a result of McCain's age) is a truly horrifying thought.

Palin has next to no foreign experience. She has only visited 3 countries, or so she claims. These are Kuwait, Germany and Ireland. Her visit to Ireland consisted of a stopover at Shannon Airport. Combine that with the fact that she thinks living near Russia counts as knowledge of future foreign policy and you've got someone who seems to know nothing about anywhere other than her own country, possibly even only her own state.

Obama Vs. Mccain; Last Debate

This last debate of October 15, 2008 was a very interesting debate. John McCain targeted Obama on how he had a close relationship between Bill Ayers and himself. Bill Ayers is the Underground radical, and professor in Chicago. He was reported to have said that, on the morning of 9/11/01, right after the attacks, Ayers said that there should have been more bombings on the Pentagon, and posted on his blog a couple days later, to have said that same thing. Barrack Obama stated that he was very offended by McCain supporters having called him "terrorist", "traitor", and even "go die".

Obama was the target of many McCain supporters at McCain's large rallies of crowds more than 15,000 people. All McCain stated about this accusation was that, "there are many people at these rallies, and many of my supporters have different views".

McCain went on to counter saying that "He didn't like the names he was being called either!" Although all of these accusations toward one another, McCain pummled Obama in all the questions asked and disscusions they had. McCain's main goal was the accusation of Bill Ayers and how Obama started his campaign in Ayers' living room.

Obama denies this accusation and McCain is supportive of it. McCain also accused Obama of being hand in hand with "ACORN" the registeration company for the ballots and votes of the presidency. Overall, McCain came out of the debate in a landslide and won the 3rd and last presidential debate of the 2008 presdential election.

Rudolph W. Giuliani's and Barack Obama's Foreign Policy Comparison and Evaluation

Providing for the American citizens is one thing, but ruling the free world and resolving all the problems that end up on the president's desk the true ultimate goal of a newly elected president. Each president serves their purpose but fail at many faults. Americans wait every day for their loved one to come back from Iraq, is an example. With every presidential candidate comes promises, and most of which are never kept. This is a huge opinioned based country and the foreign affairs essays by two presidential candidates can help determine which is full of force deriving from the want of a better country, or determine which is full of it. Rudolph W. Giuliani and Barack Obama are to very opinionated people in their beliefs but by their choice of words can you tell as a reader that both can contribute something to the United States.

Starting with Giuliani, he is what a conservative would consider their perfect candidate. His choice of action is so well thought up it almost seems that he already put it into play. He covers every question you might ask, and is very focused on his goal, which is to inform what his goals are, in foreign affairs, if he becomes president. Giuliani is very straightforward, eradicating the cliché of “if I become president: to “if I don't become president consequences can emerge” One of his most understandable acts would be his plan on Iraq. He firmly states that no other leader can bring peace to Iraq but the Iraq leaders themselves. Even with this strong statement, he believes that just taking the troops out won't fix the problem. We as a nation of freedom have to stay and finish what we started. His words include “The first step to realistic peace means balancing realism and idealism. Starting with realism he mentions that on a road to realistic peace we have to be realistic about our enemies. He implies greatly that we should HELP, not CONTROL, Iraq. We have to help Iraq build an accountable, functioning government that serves the needs of their populations, reduce violence within their borders, and eliminate the export of terror. He believes that we should also concentrate inward on a stronger defense. He believes in the saying “Brains over Brawn”, as well as adding ten new combat brigades, and installing a national defense system. Lastly he believes that more robust human intelligence such as satellites viewing weapons factories day and night is essential. One of what I think is one of his greatest words were “To rebuild is an essential because if not the benefits will not out weigh the costs”.

There is one part of the essay called “determined diplomacy” which states only one true fact and that is to the great tie between diplomacy and our strengths such as military, economics, and moral judgment. As for faults in his plans as future president, I saw no catastrophic flaws, as a reader of the foreign policy essay.

There is one catastrophic flaw though and he named Barack Obama. It may sound a little personal but here are a few things that a pensive, and inquisitive reader, sees. First, the fact that struck me the most was the part of his foreign policy about helping fellow country allies. He makes a statement that he will at all costs fix the “HISTORICAL”, as in going on for ages with out a solution, problems between Pakistan and India. This is a message that conveys the message that if he is president he will not stay within his own country and stray from his number one priority America's interest. Second, he wants to completely finish weapons of mass destruction from the face of the Earth. At the same time that he wants to remove all troops from Iraq, on March 31, 2009. Not even as a ruler of the world would, a realistic, person see that weapons of mass destruction will always be around because they derive from nature and you can't extinguish the sun for example; it's something that is unheard of.

One of his statements that appeared reasonable included that he will double our annual investment in meeting challenges by spending $50 billion by 2012, and make sure that the new resources are pointed to worthwhile goals.

Even with such immense flaws he does make some good points. He is very environmentally driven and what I would call a very “clean” person. He acknowledges the fact that the system of defense should be rebuilt, and modernized to a stable equilibrium of tranquility in the minds of the American citizens. His plan is to rebuild is to add 65,000 soldiers to the army and 27,000 to the Marines. He wants to prepare the US Army in case of another conflict outside of Iraq, and lower the 88% of the National Guardsmen that are not ready to deploy over seas. He greatly believes in the big aspect of things, for example he says that our enemy is global and should be dealt with, globally.

Both candidates have their way of portraying the perfect America to the inhabitants but until plans of promise and action are applied to fix internal and external problems of America, will the true freedom bell ring. Rudolph Giuliani tops in comparison to Barack Obama's essay because the quality of Giuliani's essay includes answers to unasked questions, realistic goals, and a very modern and optimistic approach on the problems he has to inherit if he takes presidency.

Barack Obama's essay was the complete opposite of that. One thing is to be kept in mind and that is “The best thing about the future is that it comes only one day at a time.” - Abraham Lincoln.

Lessons of the Past: Comparing the War on Terror to the Vietnam Conflict

I am sure most of my readers are old enough to have at least learned about, if not lived through, the Vietnam Conflict. Some of you may have even participated in the protests of the late 1960's and early 1970's, but all of you have either read the statistics from the history books or saw firsthand the reports from the field. I am going to take some time in this edition of my commentary to show the similarities between Vietnam and the current “War” on Terror and how current US policies will never produce a decisive victory over terrorist organizations.

First I will take a moment to briefly talk about casualty statistics in Vietnam. In the entire conflict, there were approximately 58,202 total deaths in all of the US forces sent to Vietnam. While any number of deaths is unacceptable, the truly amazing fact is that the Vietnamese forces from the North Vietnamese Army (NVA) and Vietcong combined numbered 1,100,000, or a factor of four enemy deaths to one US death.

So how, you may ask, did we lose the Vietnam Conflict?

The answer is simple. When you are fighting an enemy that is determined to win and has nothing to lose, you cannot defeat them through use of force alone. Herein lies the current problem with the “War“ on Terror.

Fast forward approximately 30 years to the present and lets examine what turns an innocent child growing up in the Middle East into someone willing to kill themselves for an ideal.

Most of the blame can actually be traced back to the spread of worldwide media and entertainment. As the children are growing up, they watch shows on television from the United States showing well fed people, beautiful women, nice cars, nice houses, etc. As any child, they begin to long for these things. As they get older, they realize that life is not like the television and they may never achieve the success they once dreamed of having. As they become more disillusioned and desperate, they become more easily persuaded by promises of an afterlife that will give them everything they ever desired while they were younger if they give their lives in the name of Allah. This creates the same type of enemy that US forces encountered in Vietnam, an enemy with nothing to lose and everything to gain. It is an enemy that is completely invulnerable to military force. They simply do not care, much like the NVA and Vietcong were willing to risk everything to win! Now you may wonder is our current policy effective in combating this?

The current US policy on the “War” on Terror has been one of strict military strategy coupled with no use of diplomacy.

This policy, against an enemy that does not fear death, is completely ineffectual. The only solution to the problem is to couple an aggressive infrastructure program and diplomatic policy with the use of force. Show the people that with time, they can have the life they grew up watching on TV, but it is not an overnight process. By improving on the lives of the citizens from countries that breed terrorism, we take away the only recruitment tool that the terrorist leaders have, the promise of a better afterlife. By giving the people of these countries the promise of a better future, and actually helping them achieve it, we take a powerful tool that is used by terrorist. The only way to achieve this goal, however, is to work more openly with other countries, and stop the “our way or no way” mentality of the current administration!

The Republic of Obama

I'm pulling my hair out! It's driving me insane! Why can't Americans see what's happening in front of their very eyes? Everything I've predicted is happening! Look at the facts!

Spike Lee has come out saying that when Obama is elected, it will be a "Chocolate City"!

Obama promised to debate McCain anywhere and anytime. Now he will only debate him on the 4th of July when almost every American will not be home!

He has promised to bring all ethnicities together but would not let Muslim women set behind him.

He now is sporting his own personal seal which resembles the Presidential Seal! Is this the beginning of the Obama Republic? How arrogant!

Mosheh Oinounou, writes that McCain Campaign Senior Adviser Steve Schmidt says: "As we scrutinize Barack Obama's words, it is increasingly difficult for those of us with the responsibility of following this year's election closely to discern what Obama truly believes at his core on the issues of great importance to the American people."

Barack Obama said during the primaries, "Don't tell me words don't matter." That's all he has done is speak words without any explanations of any plans to restore our country!

Obama reversed his position on accepting general election public financing. This change in position comes after nearly two years of speaking to and signing his name to his commitment to the public financing system. In the end, Barack Obama's words were empty and he decided to break his pledge to accept public financing in the general election.

The energy policy that he assails for being a Bush-Cheney creation for the benefit of the oil companies is the very same energy policy he voted for in the 2005 Energy Bill. Again, Barack Obama's words on energy are empty and actually contrary to his own public record.

His tax increases would hurt the economy and American workers.

Obama consistently attacks John McCain for favoring "tax breaks to corporations." Yet, he recently told The Wall Street Journal that he too was considering cutting corporate taxes. Just last month, Barack Obama called corporate tax cuts "the exact wrong prescription for America." On one day, Barack Obama took two positions on one issue, again leaving observers and voters unsure of what he really believes.

Throughout the primaries, Barack Obama has been determined to withdraw from Iraq regardless of the consequences or the facts on the ground. This week, Barack Obama talked with the Iraqi Foreign Minister. According to The Washington Post, the Foreign Minister left the conversation "reassured". The ABC News headline captures this perplexing issue clearly: "Obama and Iraqi Foreign Minister have Different Memories of their Conversation." In our foreign policy, we cannot afford a president whose public words are discounted by allies and enemies alike.

OBAMA said: "Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided." Yet, only a day later, Barack Obama said the future of Jerusalem would have to be negotiated by Israel and the Palestinians. Barack Obama was no longer prepared to say that Jerusalem should be undivided.

At a time when we need a break on gas, Obama is still against any tax cuts which would help the common people!

Every word out of his mouth about wanting to help the common people of this nation is a lie! If you don't wake up, We'll have Obama as our Supreme Commander, Farrakhan as our Nation Defense Secretary, Father Michael Pfleger as Minister of Intelligence, Reverend Wright as Minister of Education and Reverend Al Sharpton as Minister of Justice! The time is coming unless America wakes up, we will all be singing, "Hail to the Supreme Commander Obama." (That is if the White Race is not ethnically cleansed by the new Supreme Order!)

Wake Up: We’re at War!

I tried telling you before about what was happening to us. Maybe you ignored me. Maybe you are heeding my message, or you are starting to see it. We are under attack! The Middle East and Hugo Chavez have us on our knees and begging for lower gas prices. Not only does this affect our traveling to work but, it affects the cost of everything we purchase. From the feed for animals, to food on our tables. It even raises the price for medications and healthcare. Now our food is being poisoned! Who is responsible? With much of our food and vegetables coming from Central and South America, I can almost bet Chavez has a hand in it.

The Chinese are trying to poison our children and pets with lead. Now they are slurping up our greatly needed oil just 50 miles of the coast of Florida! We have more oil in just 3 of our states than the whole Middle East combined. Who is allowing this to tear down our democracy? Is there some kind of pact we don't know about? The Democrats in Congress have the majority but refuse to do anything unless they can pocket a huge amount of money in the process. How many of them do you think owns stock in petroleum? Everyone thinks the good old Democratic Party represents the poor and middle classes. That's an old theory now. I'm tired of the Democrats setting on their rear-ends, doing nothing. Then when the people ask why nothing is being done, they just set around and point a finger at the poor President! Even Obama the new Dali Lama, has people believing he will help them. It's a lie! How can you help people by saying you are going to increase the tax on coal and natural gas? Wake up people! That's just going to increase your power bills even more! He says that he wants to send everyone more money to stimulate the economy and help the people. I don't know about you but, I think that may only equal about 5 trips to the gas station. That just means more money in the pockets of the petroleum companies! I'm glad that Gov. Ted Strickland of Ohio told Obama to stick Vice Presidency in his ear!

The unheard majority, THE HANDICAPPED, need to be heard also. Most of my readers have no idea what it's like to be disabled. You take our parking spots when you're completely healthy. Until you pull up to a store and dread having to walk to the short distance to the entrance because it feels like you're running a marathon, or until you dream at night hoe you used to run and enjoy life, then wake up to the reality that you can hardly walk or can't walk, or you get hit with diabetes or heart problems and the GOODY-GOODY TWO SHOES people of the world prevent you from being cured through stem cell research, will you ever understand. As long as you remain not handicapped you won't really care as long as it's the other person, not you that needs the help. Try this little experiment. Tie a board to an arm or leg, or both, and go the whole day that way. Then tell the government there is no need for stem cell research!

Thank God for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute that was featured last week on 60 minutes! It gives all of us handicapped a gleam of light at the end of a very long tunnel. Someone cares! Amazing! Maybe we can all walk again!

So, no fuel, no money, no food, no help to cure the sick, food being poisoned, toys and pet food being poisoned, a do nothing congress, all being determined by outside sources. TO ME THAT'S WAR!

The Fall of the American Empire

No one believed me. It's so startling that it gives me Goosebumps. And some say that History repeating itself is just a myth. The young cowards of this generation are choosing Obama as their leader, so they won't have to fight to preserve freedom. They want to enjoy it as long as someone else dies.

Hamas and other terrorist organizations are hoping he wins so it will be easier to defeat us. Ahmadinejad is licking his chops and telling the world that the unraveling of the United States has begun! He will cleanse the earth by destroying anyone that does not follow his beliefs.

Senators and Congressmen have decided they know better than the people, and selected a Demon with a gold tongue. They actually believe he can control the world and make the people believe all is well with extreme taxation so the Delegates and Super Delegates can gain riches and wealth beyond their wildest dreams! They will be able to have uncontrolled power or the peasants. We won't need an Army as long as the Golden Tongued Warrior exists.

YOU IDIOTS! You have just picked Obama to lead the Democrats because of his speech and race. Just like an American Idol gets selected. Well, when malls start blowing up, you have no money because taxes are so high, and our troops get defeated because of poor morale and not enough supplies; just remember that you selected Obama the Great to lead this country to its destruction. JUST AS IT HAPPENED DURING THE FALL OF THE ROMAN EMPIRE. Someday, someone will read in the history books about a country named "The United States Of America" that was the strongest in the world, but the stupid people failed to see all the warning signs about this man, and collapsed!

I clearly think there is a scheme between Obama and Pastor Wright. Since Pastor Wright came out as a sinister racist and bigot, he clearly hurt Obama's campaign. So to correct the situation Pastor Wright is putting on this comedy show to draw attention to himself so everyone will believe Obama is a victim rather than the Pastors dear friend.

The other day if you recall, Obama scorned the Pastor's remarks. BUT he did not come out and cut all relationship to the man he loves as much as his White Grandmother! Why?
And how can you trust Hillary? Her background is covered with supporting communists and terrorists. Is that the reason Bill didn't pull the trigger on Osama Bin Laden when he had the chance? Also, husband Bill still must carry the guilt of the thousands of slaughtered people by ethnic cleansing in Rwanda! She's getting some very shady donations lately.

To quote Fox News,

Clearly Barack Obama should not have stayed in Rev Wright's church and his campaign should not maintain a "friendly" relationship with William Ayers. But what about Hillary's service on a board that gave money to a terrorist organization? And her hosting of a terror supporting group in the White House? And her acceptance of a $50,000 contribution from that group? And the statements of terrorists that they are hoping for her to win.

We must elect John McCain at all costs. Just remember Hoosiers & North Carolinians, WE NEED A PRESIDENT NOT A POP IDOL! The very survival of our way of lives will depend on who's elected in November.

Will PA Save the Usa?

With all of the polls pointing to a tight race, Pennsylvanians are up to bat. I hope they have the common sense to vote to save our country. With Obama surrounded, by all of these shady characters hiding in the woodwork, and Hillary down shots with beer and reminiscing about her combat days, you have to be able to pick someone qualified to run against John McCain. There have been many reports in the news lately, about McCain's temper. To me this shows that he's all about business. Don't waste his time with stupid questions. He really believes in his message and he does have a plan, unlike the Democratic Party.

Both Hillary & Obama have not shown the American people that they can be a good leader. I want a spitfire, determinant minded, no-nonsense kind of President. My vote is on John McCain. He displays the kind of leadership everyone is looking for. Do you honestly think Hillary or Obama have the where-withal to stand up to Iran or the Taliban? Or any of the other so-called bullies of the world? John McCain would spit in their eye and draw a line in the sand, while standing his ground! McCain even has an idea that would lower the gas prices by about one-third of what it costs now.

Last night I watched the reality of what's happening in Afghanistan on CBS's 60 Minutes. While we have been fighting in Iraq, Al-Qaeda and the Talban have been getting stronger. They have even proven that they have better tactical training than ever before. Only one Candidate running for President says that he "knows the people and the plan to end our troubles in both areas". We must strengthen our forces in Afghanistan before it's too late, while keeping Iraq from falling into hostile hands. The next President will have a large plate on his table. I only hope America decides on a "leader" not a "speaker or do-nothing". If you want to be safe in America, you'll vote for McCain. The man that won't be pushed around!
