Ashley Dupre

There is no doubt that Ashely Dupre can make a lot of money if she chooses to do so but all over the web you can find negative stories who say she should not make that money because of the fact she was an escort. No matter what Ashley Dupre does from here she will probably always be known as the escort who was paid a reportedly $5,000 by Spitzer.

It seems that people are just jealous that Dupre is going to make all this money by simply selling her body but than again there are famous musicians, models, and others in the entertainment industry who use to sell drugs, belong to gangs, addicted to drugs and other stuff related to that but yet they are now looked at as role models. The point is that the media is making a big deal out of nothing and they know sex sells.

If the media really cared about prostitutes or people selling their bodies than they would have much more coverage about the subject. The only reason this story is blowing up is because it involved a well known politican and now the media will pretend to care about the well being of people selling their bodies until this story becomes old.

Man Tasered

If you do not know what I am referring to you can watch the video.

Ok now you know what I am talking about and there have been a lot of opinions about this event. In my opinion the officer had an attitude and if he felt in danger than why did he instruct the guy to get out of his vehicle and than turn his back on the man while they walk away from the vehicle and towards the cruiser? That was a mistake on the officer's part. The guy should not have had his hands in his pocket and walk away from the officer.

Whether it was right or wrong the guy should have listen to the officer's instructions and than fought later in the courts instead of the side of the highway. Also it seemed like the arresting officer was not honest with the other officer when he told him the story. The arresting officer did not really warn the man that he was going to tased. I think the officer should not be allowed to be a cop anymore because he did a lot of things wrong in this ordinary traffic stop.

The Hoff

A few months ago a video of David Hasslehoff surfaced on the internet and the video show him drunk and eating a burger off of the floor. The video was taken by his own daughter and than showed up on the internet days later.

I think it was wrong of his daughter to video tape him and then to be put it on public display. It was not right because he was in the privacy of his own home. Everyone makes mistakes and he has even admitted that he made a mistake and it was not like he was drinking in public and causing a scene.

He was at his house and on his floor and he was not doing anything wrong, he was just drunk. Yes it was a little weird that he was eating a burger off of the ground and yes you could not really understand what he was saying but the fact of the matter is he is old enough to drink, he was not in public and he was not endangering anyone else. I also thought it was funny when people though he should lose custody/visitation rights over this incident but he didn't and he shouldn't either because he has done nothing wrong.

On Wednesday December 5th a gunman decided to open up fire in a department store at a busy mall in Omaha Nebraska. The shooting occurred at the mall's department store Von Maur. Eight people were caught in the mayhem and died at the scene and five more people were also wounded, two are in critical condition.

An officer said that the gunman left a suicide note that was discovered by a relative. It is not said at this moment what was said in the note but witnesses do say that the gunman entered the store and started firing shots from the third floor and aiming at people who were on the lower level of the store.

People who fell victim to the shots were found on the second and third floors. The Shooter was found dead and the cause of death was suicide.

Witnesses also say that from out of no where they heard fifteen to twenty shots fired. Someone called 911 from within the store and people remained hidden until the police showed up and told everyone to come out with their hands up and moved them to a safe spot.

Britney Spears Recent News

The past few months there seems to be an article almost every week about the pop singer Britney Spears. From driving through a red light with her kids in the car to losing custody of her kids to a bad lip sync performance at the MTV music awards and the list could go on.

What is the big deal? She has made mistakes but is it acceptable for the paparazzi to swarm her wherever she goes and get in her face or even surround her car so she can not drive away or even move? It is not right and she should be allowed some space when she goes out in public.

At the MTV music awards she was criticized about her performance and yes it could have been better but there was no reason for critics to make a big deal about her body and weight because that is not making the right impression on young girls and women who hear critics saying she is fat or overweight because she did not look overweight at all.

As for her driving through a red light and into a busy intersection with her kids on the car, that is wrong and action should have been taken against her.

The War in Iraq

The war in Iraq has been going on for years now and it seems that not much progress is being made over there and President Bush is still not going to bring the troops home.

A lot of people think that he should have finished the first war with the person responsible for attacking the United States and it seems like there was really no reason to go over to Iraq and now if the troops do leave it will just be havoc. There are thousands of people dieing over in Iraq now and thousands of families from other countries who do not know if their loved ones are going to come back alive.

Some people, even a lot of people do not want troops from other countries over there, so why keep them in danger and in harms way all the time. It happens so often when you turn on the news and you hear about another troop dying or getting seriously injured or becoming a hostage. I think it is time for a different course of action seeing how the war is upsetting many families and people all over the world. So how justified is the war in Iraq?

War on terrorism

Just how good is the war on terrorism going and is it really ever going too end terrorist attacks? It started years ago and yes the attacks from terrorist have gone down but there are still troops dying overseas and it seems like there might not be an end in sight or that terrorist will ever stop attacking period. Usually when a terrorist believes in something, than they are usually willing too fight till the end and keep fighting until they are dead and cannot give anymore. This is going to be a war that will probably last for many years and possibly generations and there are so many lives being loss and some people think that some of the reasons they call it the war on terror is too defend the war in Iraq.

So it has made some progress but at what price, the price of young soldiers lives and endless fighting and people spending years away from their families and it can be hard on soldiers mentally and physically. Hopefully the war will end one day and the terrorists will be defeated because it is only a matter of time when they do get defeated.

Home grown terror

A home grown terrorist is by definition someone who do acts of terrorism but they do it in their own country and they live there. Now I think and I am not sure if this is the exact definition but its close too that and I was just thinking about the subject and I was wondering what is worse, a home grown terrorist or a terrorist. I think home grown terrorist are more of a threat than normal street criminals because yea regular criminals might be a common thing in some towns and some sections but when someone wants or is a home grown terrorist, they seem like they have no remorse and they sit and usually plan an attack down to a t and wants worse is that they want to attack and do harm to their own country, to their own home and maybe do harm to others.

When someone is caught and they are declared a home grown terrorist than they should be treated like a traitor or a spy because if someone wants to attack their own country and possibly harm innocent lives, than they will probably do anything and wont stop at nothing to achieve whatever it is they are trying to.

Extremists

Almost everyday you look in the news or on TV, it seems as there is always something terrorist related. One has to think as to why these people are willing to kill themselves in order to go to a place better than here. Also, if the leaders of these terrorists groups are so into preaching about the promise life, than how come they are training suicide bombers and planning attacks against other countries and killing innocent people, people who couldn’t help to what kind of race they were born. So why aren’t these leaders out killing themselves or strapping bombs to themselves for a better life? It’s because they know it is wrong to kill and wrong to harm people and to judge people’s fate. I don’t think there is any religion out there that spreads its words with such violence. Everyone is entitled to believe what they want, but when people take it to extremes by killing people or attacking another country with the intent to kill innocent people, than I think it is wrong. People are born in a country without a choice and people do not get to pick who they are born too.

War in Iraq

I talked to multiple people to get different views on the war in Iraq. A lot of people think that America has no right to have troops in Iraq. They think we are fighting a war we shouldn’t be in. Some people make good points to why the war is wrong. The reason why America is at war ( in the words of president bush a few years ago) is because Iraq supposedly had weapons of mass destruction and yet they have found no evidence of weapons of that nature or they just had not been made public. Either way, America has troops over there that have not seen they’re own families in years because they are defending the country. They should be able to withdraw so they can see they’re families and kids and wives. The news today said that Iraq now is more deadly than ever before and America is probably going to loose more troops. These are not my opinions because me personally is split. I’m 50/50 with this war because there are good reasons for this war but than again the troops need to see they’re families. Well I will keep writing about this subject, so keep checking in if interested.

God bless the troops and they’re families
