| | This is part two of my analysis of the month-long Hezbollah-Israel war. I also continue to look towards the next conflict that could come to the Mid-East. |

| | In Part Five of "Kleptocracy, Cronyism and War Profiteers: Too Many Hands in the Cookie Jar", we see how President Bush's behavior reflects on the country as a whole, the GOP cash machine, the return of Henry Kissinger to politics, and scratch around the "show pony cronies" like Harriet Miers, Julie Meyers, and finally review John Bolton's dubious rise to the top of the United Nations in light of his divisive politicing as well as
poor performances on the Israeli-Lebanese war and the situation in Darfur. |

| | The Washington Post reported the United States has warned Syria, Hezbollah and Iran not to topple the "U.S. backed democratically elected Lebanese government". Once again, poor U.S. foreign policy has created inroads for those trying to pull down democracies in yet another country, as Hezbollah seeks to increase its power in the reconstructed "Unity Government" of Lebanon. If the U.S. backs Lebanon now, why did the back Israel during the campaign? No wonder US foreign policy is hated everywhere…except Washington. |

| | The elections are over, and America is hoping for change. It is at this point our guard is lowest, and strange things happen behind unknown doors between stranger bedfellows. It would be wise to watch the neo-conservatives, the Israeli lobby and politicians, and the religious right wing while they are regrouping. A strategic loss like this means corrupt groups have a dangerous amount of free time on their hands. |
